The
staff at CNN has combined industry experience of over 45 years.
Each member of the CNN team brings their own abilities and experience
to CNN to make us one of the industry’s largest employers.
Both
owners of CNN have deep roots in the community.
John
Nichols, Vice President
of CNN brings over 20 years experience in the human resource
field. As Human Resource Manager of the Lincoln County Board
School Board, John became very familiar with the logistics of
running a labour pool. Prior to starting at CNN, John was the
owner of another temporary staffing agency, Turn Key Solutions,
that he ran successfully for many years. His employment history
with various Fortune 500 companies have given him the flexibility
and understanding to accept that as the business community grows
and changes – we at CNN must be able to do the same.
To
finish off the team, we have Kathryn MacLeod
who runs our payroll department. She has over 25 years of experience,
12 of those years in the temporary help industry.
At
CNN we have offered invoicing that is less labour intensive
for our customers. Kathryn helps Jan R.
Cook, President of CNN Staffing Solutions previously
owned and operated Manpower Services for 25 years. He is also
president of Credit Bureau Services Canada and has major interests
in other local businesses. His decades of experience have allowed
Jan to gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of many business
sectors and the evolution of human resources. His commitment
to the community is not only portrayed in his professional life,
but more so through his active participation in many charitable
causes and as a member of various board of directors.
Jan
has spearheaded many fundraising initiatives including the St.
Catharines General Hospital – Breakthrough Niagara Health
Card Campaign, Alzheimer Society Niagara Capital Campaign, and
recently was the fundraising chair for St. Catharines’
new Four Pad Sportsplex facility. His vast contributions to
many additional charities such as Community Card and the YMCA,
and also his impact on area business; have lead to many recognitions
for Jan as an outstanding community leader in the Region of
Niagara.
