Civil Construction Estimator - Require a minimum 5 years experience in estimating, earthworks, grading, structures, noise walls, guiderail, fencing, landscaping etc. - for municipal and government ministry projects.
Must be proficient in completing all aspects of the tendering process such as
- Search out, review & select projects for tender
- Ordering or pickup of tender documents
- Review tender documents
- Complete all quantity takeoffs required
- Complete job estimate
- Arrange required bonding
- Assist in obtaining material pricing
- Review & solicit required sub contractors
- Attend pre-tender site meetings
- Submit tenders — on time
- Follow up of tender results
Candidate must be experienced with computer programs ie. word, excel and bid package software such as H.C.S.S. or equal.
Technical training required (C.E.T./Gold Seal Certification) or equivalent
Excellent decision making skills, problem solving and communication skills Work with minimal supervision
Salary $50,000 plus depending on experience

CNC Operator - We are currently recruiting for one of our clients who is seeking a candidate who is well versed in the operations of CNC turning centers, horizontal and vertical machining centers.
The applicant must be capable of programming and set-ups for first-off approvals.
The ability to operate measurement tools/gauges, to verify part dimensions to tight tolerances, is mandatory. Experience with FANUC controls would be an asset. Applicants must be capable of working shift work. Generous benefit package offered.
